Expectations

Groups are from four to six people - with special arrangements more people may be possible. Mature children who treat horses well and can handle wilderness camping are welcome with advance discussion.

This is a wilderness area - we are trained to protect you but it is possible to be hurt. You will be asked to sign a waiver that shows you understand and accept risk.

Weather changes suddenly - bring warm clothing, sleeping bags, pillows/blankets, and personal items. Plan for multiple changing for in case clothes get soaked. Bring strong gloves that can handle some wear. We provide slickers for rain, horses, camp equipment/supplies

Limited bookings available - first come, first served on reservation dates.

Deposits are critical - without them we cannot plan your trip.

Tax/Deposits/Payment/Late Fees/Discounts TOP

3% US Forest Service + 5.625% New Mexico State Tax added to all trips.

Campers/Hunters: $100 per person deposits due/postmarked January 1 to April 1, or $200 per person deposits due/postmarked April 2 to June 21.

Hunters: Proclamation Deadline is April 24, deposit required to contract with us for out of state pool for draw for elk hunters.All deposits refunded to hunters who do not draw.

Balance of payment on all trips is due/postmarked on or before June 21 Deadline.

10% Late Fee if paid/postmarked by July 1. 25% Late Fee if brought with you to the trailhead - CC or MO.

10% Discount if Paid In Full by April 1. Additional 10% discount to repeat customers.

Hunting Licenses and Stamps TOP

Hunting Licenses and Habitat Stamps are not included.
